Endress+Hauser has developed my|eCampus, a web-based training programme for industrial process engineering which enables people to study for a qualification in instrumentation and automation solutions in their own surroundings, at a convenient time.
Both students and people already working in process engineering industries can use the interactive programme to develop their understanding of measurement technology, devices and application solutions.
The training programme comprises of twelve basic technical subjects. The first unit ‘Basic concepts in measurement technology’ is available free of charge. Subsequent training units are available in subjects including Coriolis mass flow measurement, calibration basics and pH instrumentation, among others. Most units are designed to be studied in just one hour. commitments. The company can also prepare individual, customised e-learning programmes on request.
Trainees can choose to study individual courses or take out an annual subscription, and little or no technical knowledge is required prior to completing the modules, explains the company.
