PowerView 780 – Full Featured Configurable LCD Display

We are suppliers of the new Murphy PowerView 780 display. Utilising CAN-based communications, the PV 780 employs smooth, full colour graphics to provide diagnostic information for a wide range of applications, including system monitoring, system control and the recording and display of engine data. The product is compatible with both mechanical and electronic engines and is highly customisable, with the aid of easy to use configuration software. Many aspects of the unit can be reconfigured, such as editing CAN parameters, adding OEM branding and creating unique user interface screens. Multiple languages are available with this system.

The visually arresting graphics are displayed on a 7”/178mm colour transmissive TFT LCD. An attractive feature of the bonded screen is that the imagery is clearly viewable in direct sunlight.

Designed to withstand a severe shockload (50g) in 3-axis, the PV 780 is suitable for a high variety of applications that are subject to extreme environments. The unit has a solid polycarbonate back casing, which helps to give the product its considerable ruggedness. In addition, a protection rating of IP66 & IP67 (front and back) for this model, together with the ability to operate within temperatures of between -30 C and +85 C, makes the screen perfectly functional in a wide range of demanding conditions.

The PV 780 has 2 CAN ports available, together with 3 video inputs and 9 additional digital and analogue inputs. In total, there are 10 tactile pushbuttons, which can be illuminated by a white LED backlight. The total size of flash memory is 2GB, with 1GB available for datalogging.

The PV780 is available in either landscape or portrait orientation and can be mounted at the front, the rear or with a Gimbal mounting. A touchscreen version is also available.

Product Dimensions (landscape): 212.5mm wide x 152.5mm high x depth 90.8mm.
