Powelectrics is delighted to announce the official launch of its first subsidiary business, PowUtilities, set up to deliver SMART electricity, gas and water metering technology for multi-occupancy sites, such as residential and holiday parks, managed and serviced offices, and industrial units.

- The Site Owner no longer collects your electricity or gas meter readings, and will no longer send you separate gas and electricity bills periodically.
- PowUtilities will set up your online account automatically and you will be able to view your account for gas and electricity usage in one place and pay as much as you can afford at anytime giving you greater transparency and control.
- Your current system does not have the capability to differentiate between peak and off peak pricing. The new system does.
- If you choose to use your washing-machine, turn the heating on, cook or boil a kettle etc during low-peak hours you will now make significant savings.
- Smart metering is accurate and you only pay for the electricity and gas you consume.
- No more surprise bills, estimated billing or incorrect meter readings.
- Family & friends can pay into your account whilst visiting.
- Online visibility of usage means you can also see if a rogue appliance is using too much energy or check if consumption occurs when your property is vacant, which could indicate a leak or unauthorized usage.

How Does The PowUtilities Solution Work?
- PowUtilities supply and fit our proprietary metering technology – retrofit or new units.
- Readings are taken at user-defined intervals and sent to the PowUtilities portal.
- End-users (eg caravan owners) pay via the portal & top up credit before utilities are consumed.
- End users can view their consumption and credit on their unique online account
- Site owners invoice PowUtilities, based on consumption reports & site owners pay their utility suppliers.
- It is also possible for Site Owners to administrate the system themselves, generally in the case of short-term rentals.
