Peak Sensors appoints new managing director

Peak Sensors, manufacturer of temperature sensors to process control and OEM customers, has appointed Dr Roshan Aucklah to head up its growth and development.

Roshan brings with him a wealth of experience gained from previous role as sales director of Xeracarb.

His focus will be ensuring Peak Sensors continues to provide world-class thermocouple and resistance thermometer sensors, and developing products for new markets and territories.

Current MD Peter Smith, who will be moving to a consultant role said: “We are thrilled to welcome Roshan to the team. The quality of our manufacturing and customer service has helped us grow for 20 years, and Roshan’s expertise will be vital in capitalising on opportunities for further growth.”

Roshan said “I’m excited to join the team and looking forward to meeting with customers over the coming months. Peak Sensors is very customer focussed and I hope to provide solutions to many new customers with the great service that Peak Sensors offers.”

Peter Smith started Peak Sensors in 1997 after spotting a gap in the sensor market. After 20 years of leading the company he is excited about company succession plans and the opportunities available in growing sectors. The change in leadership will enhance Peak Sensors ability to enter new markets and supply new innovative temperature sensors.
