Developing a bright future based on customer needs

“The future is understanding the issues associated with our customers’ industries and finding opportunities that benefit and resolve our customers’ applications through consultative selling. It’s important to listen and ask the right questions. In all cases our products speak for themselves in terms of quality, price and performance, however, it will be our key focus to enhance and grow our relationships with our distributors, OEMs and key customers in order to drive the business forward,” states Elizabeth Abolins, the new Business Development Executive at Status Instruments.

Like many businesses, there are always challenges from competitors and the general economy. Status has managed to survive as a company by staying innovative and by offering good cost effective solutions. We build relationships based on empathy and promoting positivity to all customers with our dedicated Status team.

Cost effective solutions that provide more benefits to users

Status Instruments continuously strives to provide new products, designing more features and benefits for users but ensuring the end user doesn’t pay dearly for the upgrade. The new next generation SEM1605P and SEM1605TC DIN rail mounted temperature transmitter products do exactly that.

The SEM1605P is a RTD temperature transmitter with 4 to 20mA two wire output for Pt100, Cu100, Cu53, Ni100 and Ni120 sensors. This next generation is USB programmable through the USB port and allows calibration against a live sensor value and output trim without the need for a PC, via push buttons.

The SEM1605TC is a thermocouple temperature transmitter with a 4 to 20mA two wire output for thermocouple types K, J, E, N, T, R, S, L, U, B, C and G. This next generation will allow configuration via USB and calibration at the touch of a push button against a live sensor value.

The importance of product development

“It has always been our aim to stay ahead of the market with new ideas or to provide more effective alternatives to products already available. Our team of experienced designers have come up with a terrific range of products, all with ease of use and low cost of ownership as standard benefits,” explains Ian Pullin, Managing Director at Status Instruments.

We have many innovative product solutions in the pipeline, with a range of new products becoming available in the coming months. Unlike many companies, we actively encourage our customers to get in touch with us to see how our custom design team can support their future requirements.

Engage with our future

Status’ products can be viewed on-line at or via its latest product catalogue, which includes many new products available for the first time, displayed in a user-friendly layout.

We are constantly improving our on-line experience. One such improvement is replacing detailed technical information by simple block diagrams to show product specification, allowing customers to see what they require at a glance.

Status has chosen select social media platforms in order to promote our business, so please follow us on LinkedIn and watch out for our upcoming videos on YouTube.
