New compressed air measurement and monitoring solutions at Air Tech 2016

This event at the NEC on the 12^th-14^th April will highlight the partnership between UK distributor Red Dragon Ltd and CS-iTEC GmbH, the manufacturer of innovative measuring solutions for compressed air and gases. On stand AF250, Red Dragon will be showcasing CS-iTEC products for air quality measurement, flow monitoring and energy efficiency for the first time at this event.

Flow

New to the UK at this event will be the S 430 pitot tube insertion flow meter designed for wet or contaminated gases and ideally suited for the measurement of Free Air Delivery (FAD) at the outlet of compressors. This instrument offers the flexibility of 5 measurements from a single instrument; Flow; Velocity; Consumption; Pressure and Temperature. All of which can be communicated to other controllers, SCADA systems etc. though SDI bus or Modbus/RTU.  In addition, the S 430 has a 4-20mA output for flow and pulse output for consumption. There is a colour display and Bluetooth interface for wireless configuration. This product builds on the success of the CS-iTEC thermal mass flow meters by adding capability for wet air and gases up to 200°C.

Dew Point

The S 305 dew point monitor combines the functionality of a precision sensor and programmable LCD display in a single IP65 housing with a simple 6mm push fit connector for quick and easy installation. With a measuring range of -20 to +50°C, 4-20mA output and optical alarm, the unit is ideal for local and remote monitoring of refrigerant dryer outputs or at point of use for the protection of sensitive equipment or processes. This unit allows the addition of an external pressure sensor with the 4-20mA auxiliary input to provide a simple monitoring solution for dew point, temperature and pressure. Other dew point sensors from CS-iTEC include the S 220 low range sensor for ultra dry air down to -100°C.

Oil Vapour measurement

The S 120 oilvapour sensor offers measurement and monitoring in accordance with ISO 8573 for concentrations down to 0.001mg/m³. Designed for portable or permanent installation, the S 120 offers a compact solution for oil vapour monitoring with communication including 4-20mA, SDI, Modbus/RTU and alarm relay output. The display option adds a 5” full colour graphic touchscreen and integral datalogger for standalone operation.

Particle Counting

The S 130 range of laser particle counters combine the same housing, display and communication options as the S 120 with 2 or 4 channel particle detection. There are 5 different models covering a wide combination of particle sizes from 0.1µm to 5.0µm.

The CS-iTEC GmbH is available in the UK through Red Dragon Ltd and will be displayed at Birmingham NEC on stand AF250 during the Air-Tech exhibition 12^th -14^th  April 2016.
