Measuring just 5.7mm long, 3.5mm wide and 2.3mm high, and weighing 0.19g, the A/128/V from DJB Instruments is said by the company to be the smallest and lightest integral electronics piezo-electric (IEPE) stainless steel accelerometer.
The accelerometer uses a mechanically pre-loaded shear plate sensing element and is relatively free from strain induced error. Available with a range of voltage output sensitivities including 1mV/g, 5mV/g and 10mV/g, each accelerometer is supplied with a 0.5m or 1.0m integral softline cable with a microdot 10/32 UNF connector.
Based on the A/28 charge output accelerometer, the A/128/V has already proven itself where delicate equipment required measurement.
