A miniature yet high performance non-contact infrared sensor/transmitter has been launched by Omega. The OS136 series instrument features a 19mm O.D.
by 89mm long stainless steel IP65 housing and can be used in applications that require measuring temperature in hard-to-reach, confined or harsh environment areas.
Features include a 1.8m shielded cable for power and output connections; and industry standard outputs that provide easy interfacing directly to all meters,
controllers, dataloggers, recorders, computer boards and PLC’s.
The fixed emissivity of 0.95 allows for quick and easy measurements requiring no adjustment during installation and use. Two temperature ranges are
available: OS136-1: -18 to 202°C; OS136-2: 149 to 538°C:
