itmsoil sells instrumentation business to Nova Metrix LLC

Geotechnical and structural monitoring specialist itmsoil has completed the sale of their manufacturing business, Soil Instruments, to Nova Metrix. Focusing fully on monitoring services, itmsoil, being renamed ITM Monitoring, will be delivering an end to end  instrumentation and monitoring service, from producing monitoring design plans through to installation, system support, data visualisation and maintenance.

“As ITM Monitoring we will have greater capacity to design and deliver instrumentation systems to meet the specific needs of each and every project.  We will continue drawing upon the extensive range of Soil Instruments products and those of other sensor and technology supply chain partners.  Previously, we had to divide our management time, focus and investment between monitoring services and instrumentation manufacture.  Now we can concentrate entirely on developing, installing and supporting exceptional monitoring solutions and delivering high value, reliable data to our customers”, commented Jon Scott, managing director.

It is this approach that has seen more than 30 years of successful delivery of service for clients including Network Rail, the Highways Agency, London Underground and The Coal Authority, working on projects including M6 Toll, Jubilee Line Extension, CTRL, Crossrail, The Olympic stadium, Frankfield Loch and London Gateway Port.
