HUBER+SUHNER to showcase solutions for tomorrow’s industry at SPS IPC Drives 2018

HUBER+SUHNER will be presenting its latest infrastructure innovations for digital transformation at SPS IPC Drives, 27-29 November, Nuremberg.

Under the motto “today, tomorrow, connect”, HUBER+SUHNER will showcase its capabilities and solutions for numerous applications in the areas of smart factory, smart energy, smart ship and offshore. These solutions include components from the low frequency, high frequency and fibre optic technologies.

“With the once distinct lines between networking technology, automation and sensor technology now blurred, infrastructure solutions that are currently being deployed need to do so with interoperability in mind,” said Niklaus Abächerli, product manager at HUBER+SUHNER. “Digital transformation is upon us, and at the show this year, our focus is on providing all-encompassing solutions that will provide our customers with certainty in the uncertain industry landscape we find ourselves in.”

After a number of successful deployments in smart city and transport applications, the company’s latest addition to its antenna portfolio, the SENCITY Omni-S MIMO will be on display at stand 321 in hall 10.

The fully-customisable and configurable antenna solution has been designed for applications in harsh environments, for example on street cabinets, distribution boxes or for use in industrial vehicles. Supporting cellular bands from 2G to 4G LTE, WiFi MIMO and GPS/Glonass, the antenna is perfect for M2M communications, but can also operate successfully as WiFi offload, carrier-grade WiFi, small cells and WiFi hotspots.

“It is important to provide our customers with an element of flexibility in our solutions, which is why our SENCITY Omni-S MIMO is so customisable.” added Abächerli. “We understand that our customer’s applications can vary, and so to should the technology. We look forward to discussing our portfolio’s full potential at this year’s SPS IPC Drive event.”

Meeting the increasing demand of faster and smarter charging for electric vehicles, also on display will be the award-winning RADOX High Power Charging System (HPC). Developed with the future in mind, the RADOX HPC makes super-fast charging a reality, with the HPC charging up electric vehicles to a state of charge of 80 per cent within 15 minutes.

Attendees of SPS IPC Drives can find HUBER+SUHNER at stand 321 in hall 10 from 27-29 November at the Nuremberg Exhibition, Nuremberg.
