Director of GI Systems elected Fellow of the IET

Rob Stockham, Director of GI Systems has recently been elected a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).

The IET is a global and diverse home for over 168,000 engineering and technology professionals in over 150 countries. Established in 1871 and holding a Royal Charter, promoting Integrity, Excellence and Teamwork thought its members entire career path.

IET Fellowship is the highest award for individuals who have sustained high levels of achievement, for example through leadership, influence, senior responsibility, innovation, and professional service, being at the forefront of engineering, technology. It is only awarded to engineers that have operated at the forefront of their field and maintaining high professional standards over number of years.

Commenting on the news, Stockham said: “I am very grateful that my application was supported by two well respected IET Fellows, specialists in their own subjects, that I have worked with in industry over many years, especially in field of Functional Safety and pleased to have received acknowledgement for my contribution by my peers at the IET.”
