Keysight Technologies has announced that it will demonstrate test and measurement solutions to advance communications beyond 400Gb/s in telecom, data center and computing at ECOC 2014, Sept. 22nd – 24th, Cannes, France, Stand 368.
The Keysight test solutions and technical discussions will include:
New: Keysight will show, for the first time, a new digital and arbitrary signal generator, the M8195A arbitrary waveform generator, with the highest speed, bandwidth and channel density. It is the most versatile signal generator up to 32 GBaud and beyond, suitable for PAM-4 signal generation to test high-speed ICs and for coherent signal generation to test high-speed optical links.

Characterising components for next-generation transmission systems using the Keysight Lightwave Component Analyser. This NIST traceable, turn-key solution for electro-optical component characterisation is based on the Keysight performance network analyser. With bandwidths up to 67 GHz the analyser characterises balanced electro-optical components for coherent transmission and supports 56G-CEI characterisation.
