Danisense invests in current transducer calibration laboratory to offer additional services

Certificate of Calibration assures customers of accuracy of instrument

 Key points:

  • Certificate of Calibration now available for all Danisense current transducers
  • Free DC calibration for 5000A and 10,000A current transducers, with either voltage or current output
  • Danisense current transducers offer high accuracy, high stability & affordability

Danisense, the leader in high-accuracy current transducers for demanding applications, has set up a DC calibration test laboratory at its Danish headquarters and manufacturing site in Taastrup, further strengthening the company’s reputation for flexibility, quality and accuracy of its products.

For all transducers and in addition to the actual free certificate of conformity, Danisense can offers a 15-point calibration from negative to positive nominal current. A calculation of the linearity error and the absolute error of actual current with and without offset error. By delivering Calibration Certificate, this enables customers to have full confidence in the measurements they make.

The calibration is a free service for high current 5,000A and 10,000A products, units are 100% tested and shipped with a Certificate of Calibration which details the actual current error.

Commented Christian Markvardsen, Project manager/R&D engineer at Danisense: “The investment means that we can assure our customers of the accuracy of our current transducers without relying on shipping parts to a third party. Most customers are happy with the DC calibration that we provide, but we may look to add an AC calibration capability in the future.”
