BSRIA appoints new sales manager – Instrument Solutions

BSRIA has appointed Dan Higgins as its new sales manager, Instrument Solutions, effective from Monday 12 November 2018.

Dan has almost 20 years’ experience working for public and private sector organisations across the environmental, waste and water utilities sectors. He completed a B.Sc in Environmental Science and an M.Sc in Instrumentation and Analytical Science.

His career emphasis has been in air quality, emissions, occupational hygiene, landfill, contaminated land and water quality monitoring – providing both services and equipment.

He gained practical technical experienced in the field, followed by an MBA to develop his business and commercial knowledge, before moving into account management, business development and sales.

Alan Gilbert, business manager, BSRIA Instrument Solutions, said: “Dan brings with him a full scope of sales, account management and customer experience. We see this appointment as a crucial step in our continued development for the strategic direction BSRIA Instrument Solutions is taking for 2019 and beyond.
