Thermal processing
Precision fluidised Baths are a stable temperature source for material and component QC labs used for thermal processing applications in Quality and Production departments. Applications include stress-testing of metals, heating of reactor vessels and shape-setting of nitinol arterial stents and platinum tungsten coils.
Thermal cleaning
Techne Industrial Fluidised Baths are widely used by polymer manufacturers to remove oil and polymer residues from extrusion tooling quickly, safely and without damage. The fluidizing medium is a course dry, inert aluminium oxide powder. In a fluidised state this alundum becomes mobile, evenly distributing heat for excellent high thermal stability.
Industrial Fluidised Baths are an effective, safe and clean alternative to oil, salt, ultrasonic and molten-metal baths. They are also more effective at cleaning stainless-steel tooling than ovens, furnaces and blow-torches with none of the associated safety and damage risks.
