Beamex introduces ‘a better way’ to perform calibrations by upgrading their MC2 into a documenting calibrator.
Jan-Henrik Svensson, CEO of Beamex Group, comments, “it is our passion and commitment to provide the global processing industry with a market-leading calibration solution delivering ‘a better way to calibrate’. With this at the forefront of our focus, we are pleased to announce the latest update to our MC2 calibrators which now feature documenting functionality.”
The new firmware update version 3.20 has been applied to all MC2-MF and MC2-TE calibrators with serial numbers greater than 13000, streamlining the calibration process to enable digital data-capture of calibration measurements. The new upgrade is free of charge and can be installed with a simple update that can be downloaded from the Beamex website.
Why use a documenting calibrator?
Accuracy in calibration data is pivotal to intermediaries meeting their statutory requirements and ensuring that they remain compliant. The automatic documentation of results eliminates rekeying inaccuracies and handwriting discrepancies, enabling adjustment requirements to be accurately fulfilled and ensuring that businesses are compliant with ISO 9001 and 14001 legislation.
Beamex’s documenting calibrators communicate with the Beamex calibration software, CMX, which stores calibration results into its own memory, providing a paperless and digitalised calibration process and eliminates error-prone manual data entry. The data provided communicates with Beamex’s free of charge, cloud-based certificate generation software, LOGiCAL, bridging the gaps and joining the dots to help complete the process.
The digitalisation is complimented by the Beamex bMobile application which provides engineers with the ability to digitally capture almost any type of test results on their mobile device. Once installed, the application is an offline solution which works in conjunction with the CMX software.
