Swedish IR sensor company JonDeTech to have the first order from Shortlink

The IR sensor manufacturer, JonDeTech Sensors, has received its first order from ShortLink. The order relates to presence detection in a dispensing system and is a first result of the cooperation agreement signed last fall regarding future development of new products based on sensor technology.

ShortLink is a leading producer on the European market in terms of design, integration and manufacturing of electronic products. As a specialist in the development of low-energy electronics for wireless communication and portable products, ShortLink together with JonDeTech, has developed a prototype test of presence detection for a dispensing system. The presence sensor is integrated in the control unit, aiming to provide good user-friendliness, as well as to reduce power consumption. The initial order is intended for a small pre-production series with an order value of approximately SEK 19,000.

”I am very glad that we can now realise the first order with ShortLink, which we regard as a specialist in the design, development and integration of advanced in electronics products,” says Per Lindeberg, CEO of JonDeTech.

”We are pleased that we found JonDeTech’s sensor for this application. The sensor’s flexibility and cost efficiency means that we are also looking forward to being able to use the sensor in several current and future development projects,” says Martin Valfridsson, CEO of ShortLink.
